Daily Challenge

Hi everyone,

As it is Easter soon I would like you all to make a special Easter card for someone you love. You can choose who you want to make it for. It might be someone in your family who you can't see at the moment or maybe someone who you are missing from school.

Parents: I think I have gathered that you are all in contact with each other but if your child wants to send a card to one of their friends in Foundation and you don't have their contact details then let me know and I will contact other parents and try to ensure that the card makes it to them.

Also, I am aware that a couple of children have facetimed each other during this period which is a lovely way to keep in contact, to maintain a friendship and to continue with their personal, emotional, social and communication and language development! Another way to do this would be to introduce your children to the idea of pen pals.

Part of the children's end of year targets are shown below and what better way to meet those targets than to write to their friends and ask them a question in each letter/card?!

- To write simple sentences which can be read by themselves and others.
- To show sensitivity to others’ needs and feelings, and form positive relationships with adults and other children.
- To answer ‘how’ and ‘why’ questions about their experiences.

So below I have included some pictures of possible Easter card designs in case you wanted some ideas. Hopefully we will have some pen pals forming over the next week or two!
