National Trust 50 things to do before you're 11 and 3/4
Good morning everyone,
I thought I would update the page one last time to share a few things with you guys. To keep yourselves busy over the summer I have attached a selection of websites below, which all have some good content. You could also browse back through the previous weeks work and have a go at some things that you missed like SATs papers, arithmetic challenges and handwriting. This is by no means a "MUST DO" request but merely a "if you get bored then..." request.
I remember sharing a National Trust 50 things to do before you 11 and 3/4 thing a while ago but I'll share again. They have updated the list and their website has loads of good stuff on.
THE MOST IMPORTANT thing this summer is that you stay safe and continue to follow the rules. But as the restrictions get lifted and we are able to do more then MAKE THE MOST OF BEING 7!! Get outside, build a den, skim a stone, play with your siblings, walk your dog, climb a tree, jump in a puddle, collect things, make models, try different sports, write a story, learn some facts, speak a new language, enjoy nature, BE A KID!
It was great to see a lot of you yesterday on the Zoom call and I am excited for what year 3 holds! For now HAVE A GREAT SUMMER and I will see you all again in August!
Cheers everyone,
Mr Smith
Summer learning
Here are a variety of websites to help support any summer learning you wish to do during the holidays. This is not a requirement but Mr Burnett put some websites on his page and I thought it would be a good idea to do the same. So if there are some days where you want to explore and learn then try some of the pages below. As always ensure that any online learning is done with adult support and permission.
