Monday
Good morning everyone...
I hope you are all safe and well. This weeks timetable is attached to the page, but I will explain in short what you are doing this week.
Maths: Again we will be using the White Rose maths website for each lesson. Like I mentioned last week, if these are proving too easy or you would like more of a challenge you can try the year 3 lessons. Vice versa, you could drop in and try the year 1 lessons if the maths is proving too difficult. On top of this there is the "sumdog" website for which I sent out usernames and passwords and there's lots of maths to be getting on with there. Finally, there is also timestable rockstars.
English: This weeks English will work towards you writing a letter to an elderly person. We will be using the book "Dragon Post" and I will be sharing some pages from the book each day. If you have the book you could read it, if not then try and find a book that has some letter writing in, or search online for what letters look like. Your parents might have some letters at home you could look at also.
Today in English you will be describing a character (The Dragon). I have attached a picture below and I'd like you to print it off or draw your own dragon and then surround it with adjectives. You could then write sentences to describe the dragon.
This afternoon it would be good to follow the BBC Bitesize history lesson... Who was Martin Luther-King. Have a look at the resources and find out all about the great man.
Good luck and have a good day,
Mr Smith
p.s. Don't forget to exercise
