Monday
Quote of the week: "When you have gone so far that you can’t manage one more step, then you’ve gone just half the distance that you’re capable of" Greenland proverb. What does this mean to you? I used to have it stuck up in my kitchen and used it as motivation for my running.
Anyway, we go again! This is a saying I hear a lot in the world of sport and it feels quite apt to use it now. We have 3 weeks of the school term left and I know at times it has been a bit of a slog for everyone. Parents have struggled to juggle things, children have lost motivation and teachers have missed the normality of teaching! But, it is at these times that we have to pull together and push forward once more. It's hard to be reflective as a 6 or 7 year old you guys live in the moment and do it very well, that is something us adults could learn from you guys! So i urge parents to think about the present a little more this week it's definitely something I am going to try. Children try and ramp it up again and find that commitment, courage and confidence to "GO AGAIN!!!"
Anyway, this weeks learning is on the previous page as usual and I hope it is all easy to follow. I will be uploading some extra bits throughout the week as well so keep your eyes peeled. I hope all the dads had good fathers days and you got loads of chocolate and dad t-shirts.
Cheers,
Mr Smith
