Good morning year 2,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATTHEW!!!! HAVE A GREAT 7TH BIRTHDAY FROM EVERYONE IN CLASS 2!
We are in our final week of term. It saddens me that we won't be able to enjoy it together with things like sports day and end of term parties but our safety is the most important thing at the moment! When I do feel slightly sad I just think that at least we will all be back in September and we will be able to pick up where we left of, albeit in a different year group.
For the final time all the work is attached if you want extra challenge then remember BBC Bitesize have all the year 3 work on there too so you could also try that. I'd like to see some model making this week. I currently have lots of cardboard boxes and plastic from flat pack furniture around the house and it would be great to use it for models. So see what you can find and try and make a model space ship, zoo or theme park. BE CREATIVE!
One of the most pleasing pieces of news from the weekend was the announcement of funding for Primary School Physical Activity. This news comes as a great relief and means that there will be lots of opportunities for new sporting experiences next term. Never before has physical activity been so important, so GET OUT there today and do something active if you are able! There is nothing better for the mind and body!
Anyway have a good Monday, remember to have a GROWTH MIND-SET and embrace the challenges!
See you soon,
Mr Smith
