Phonics
Today I would like you to look at identify words with the 'air' trigraph and the 'ear' trigraph in.
First, watch the numberblocks episode below. Then you will need to get a piece of paper (in your exercise book if you wish) and split in it half putting 'air' as one heading and 'ear' as the other. Listen to each of my voice recordings and can you work out whether it belongs to the 'air' side or the 'ear' side? Write down each word on the correct side of your chart. Which one has more 'ear' or 'air'?
Have a good day,
Miss Heafford
