I hope you are all enjoying some of the nice weather we are having in between dodging the showers.
Friday 12th June! - FRI-YAY!!!
Well done for an amazing week of work! You are all working so hard, keep it up! Only 4 weeks to go until summer holidays. It's been lovely to see some of you in school too!
Monday 1st June,
Welcome back Year 3! We hope you had a fabulous half term break and a well deserved rest. It has been such lovely weather over the holidays so we hope you have managed to enjoy the sunshine :)
I can't believe that we are in the month of June today - the year seems to be flying by!
For Maths this week I have uploaded an alternative series of lessons to what we are already following. Please look at the page to find out more.
Hope you are all ok and keeping safe, perhaps even some of you will get to see some visitors in your garden now, I know I am quite excited about this because I can finally see my Mum and Sister again.
Keep being fabulous.
Monday 18th May.
Good Morning Year 3,
I hope you have managed to enjoy the sunshine this weekend whilst keeping safe. It's strange that we are coming to the end of another half term and we haven't had chance to see you, but I know you have all been doing a fabulous job with the home-schooling.
Remember if you have done some work you would like to share with us to email it to the school office and we can put it on the website too.
Friday 15th May
Another week is complete! We hope you've had a nice week with lots of family time (and some school work too!!) Next week is the last week before half term, hasn't the half term flown by!
Enjoy your weekend!
Monday 11th May,
Good Morning Year 3,
We hope you are all okay and have had a restful week. Hopefully you have managed to celebrate VE Day with your family or maybe your street had a social distancing party! Just a reminder that you are all working so hard in our 'new normal' and we are grateful for all the effort both you and your parents at home are doing.
Thank-you to those who have emailed us and sent us in your work. This week I thought I'd create a page so you can see each others work. If children are in the pictures please let us know if it is ok to share on the class page otherwise I will cover their face for protection.
In Maths this week we will be continuing to watch the White Rose Hub videos - they had added more questions into the videos now as no sheets are provided. We will then direct you to BBC Bitesize Daily where you can find the sheet. We will also upload it to the class page each morning when it becomes available. All the information you need will be found under the Suggested Timetable document.
Have a great day :)
Logins - 22nd April 2020
We have been made aware that some of the log-ins are not working for the apps. These log-ins were sent out at the beginning of the academic year in Year 3 and we hoped these would have been checked both in and out of school at that point. Unfortunately, we have tried to solve any issues but we are not being too successful - We are sorry.
Can we just remind you these were sent out as extra things to access. Please can we suggest you use the school class page which is updated daily with activities to learning we would be doing in school. Additionally, we have added extra activities for you to trial out and we have just uploaded a revision pack on some Maths work too.
Many Thanks Miss Wood and Mrs McEntee
Home-Learning Year 3
Due to the current climate, this week your child has been sent home with a home learning pack and their log-ins for PIXl, TTRS, My Maths and Oxford Owl which we ask you to use during the school closure period. Alongside the pack you would have received an exercise book which we would like you to record your child’s learning in.
The home learning pack is an addition to what we will be uploading onto the class pages daily, but it is there also to support your child’s learning, if there is difficulty accessing the internet.
In the home learning pack you would have received a list of suggested activities that your child can carry out, alongside some consolidation work on our most recent topics.
We will continue to support and assist with your child’s learning every way possible during this time and if you have any questions we ask you kindly to email the school office and we will do our best to help.
Stay safe and check back for regular updates.
Miss Wood and Mrs McEntee
